The goal of this dissertation thesis is to design and manufacture a combined alarm
detector, used for the protection of the glass planes. The main active elements of the
detector are the accelerometer for the force calculation of the impact, and the air
quality sensor used for the detection of the glass integrity. The concept of the detector
meets the current standardization which also reaches the highest security grade. The
prototype of the detector is divided into two parts each implemented into the window
frame. The outcome of this thesis is the prototype with the technical documentation
which can be used for the certified testing and the following placing on the market.
The detector has a common communication interface for communication with the
Control and Indicating Equipment via the RS-485.
