Integrating with the European UnionAccession, Association and Neighbourhood Policy

On the 2nd of September 2007, the Czech Association for European Studies and the Israeli Association for the study of European Integration organised a joint scientific conference in Prague. Scholars of various nationalities gathered to share knowledge and discuss the European Union, its current role in international relations and especially its relevance in the wider Euro-Mediterranean region. The title of the conference “Integrating with the EU: Accession, Association and Neighbourhood Policy” describes the main axis of this volume: analyzing impact of the EU on actors outside its territorial boundaries. The book you are holding in your hands is a compilation of research articles presented at the conference. The quality of contributions has been tested in several stages.
